| THE WILLOW is located at CaneBrake - between Gilbert & Verner, WV. GPS Coordinates: 37 38.69 North Latitude and 81 51.95 West Longitude. LOCAL DIRECTIONS TO CANEBRAKE and THE WILLOW COMING TO GILBERT ON US-52 N (from Bluefield/Hanover/Justice, WV area) Follow Route US-52 N / WV-80 N all the way into Gilbert. After the "Welcome to Gilbert" sign, continue to the intersection of US-52 & WV-80 (Hardees Restaurant is on the right) At the intersection, TURN RIGHT onto Route WV-80 N. Gilbert Presbyterian Church will be on the right. Stay on WV-80 N. for about 3 miles. After crossing the Robert Goodman bridge at "Tamcliffe" you are getting close. At the end of the bridge the road curves steep to the right. Drive a short distance....on the right, pull off in front of the first rustic cabin (sitting close to the road.) This is The Willow, your cabin. You may stay parked in front of the cabin long enough to unload personal belongings; however, you cannot stay parked in front of the cabin as it is part of the access road leading to the remaining cabins. After unloading, straight ahead, you should see "Destiny Drive;" & a large sign, "CaneBrake." Turn right onto Destiny Drive (which is a graveled road that goes down over a small hill.) Park ATVs and all trailers in the graveled parking lot behind the cabin. No parking in the grass, please. LOCAL DIRECTIONS TO CANEBRAKE and THE WILLOW - COMING TO GILBERT ON US-52 S (from Logan, WV on Route 44) From Logan, follow Route WV-44 all the way to the intersection of WV-44 & US-52. Turn left onto US-52 South & drive appx 7-8 miles to Gilbert (do not go toward Williamson!) After the "Welcome to Gilbert" sign, continue about 2 miles to the intersection of US-52 & WV-80 (Hardees Restaurant is on the right) Stay straight to get on WV-80 North. LOCAL DIRECTIONS TO CANEBRAKE and THE WILLOW - COMING TO GILBERT ON WV-80 S (from Logan/Man, WV area) From Logan, take WV-10 S to Man, appx 13 miles From Man follow WV-80 S to Verner, appx 10 miles. After the small green Verner sign, and about 3 miles, look for a large lighted sign on your left - "CaneBrake." (FYI - CaneBrake is about 2 miles before you get to Gilbert--so if you see the "Welcome To Gilbert" sign then you have gone too far.) Option 1: Use this option if you are driving without a trailer. Just after the large "CaneBrake" sign, pull off on the left side of the road, in front of the first rustic cabin (sitting close to the road.) This is The Willow, your cabin. You may stay parked in front of the cabin long enough to unload personal belongings; however, .you cannot stay parked in front of the cabin as it is part of the access road leading to the remaining cabins. After unloading, straight ahead, you should see "Destiny Drive;" & a large sign, "CaneBrake." Turn right onto Destiny Drive (which is a graveled road that goes down over a small hill.) Park ATVs and all trailers in the graveled parking lot behind the cabin. No parking in the grass, please. Option 2: Use this option if you are driving with a trailer. Go a short distance past the "CaneBrake" sign and Destiny Drive where on the right there is a graveled spot where you can turn around. After turning around - on the right, pull off in front of the first rustic cabin (sitting close to the road.) This is The Willow, your cabin. You may stay parked in front of the cabin only long enough to unload personal belongings; however, .you cannot stay parked in front of the cabin as it is part of the access road leading to the remaining cabins. After unloading, straight ahead, you should see "Destiny Drive;" & a large sign, "CaneBrake." Turn right onto Destiny Drive (which is a graveled road that goes down over a small hill.) Park ATVs and all trailers in the graveled parking lot behind the cabin. No parking in the grass, please. LOCAL DIRECTIONS TO CANEBRAKE and The Willow - COMING IN TO GILBERT ON US-52 S (from Williamson, WV) From Williamson, follow Route US-52 S about 20-25 miles to the intersection of US-52 & WV-44 Stay straight to keep on US-52 South, toward Gilbert. Drive 7-8 miles to the "Welcome to Gilbert" sign, continue about 2 miles to the intersection of US-52 & WV-80 (Hardees Restaurant is on the right) Stay straight to get on WV-80 North.
